Unsigned Artist of the Week: Sarah Darling

Posted by Brenda Moya on Thursday, June 6, 2024

Sarah Darling is an unsigned country music singer from the US. She gained a big UK fanbase last year after she supported the record breaking British country duo Ward Thomas on a few dates of their sold out Cartwheels tour.

Darling is originally from Des Moines, Iowa, but she moved to Nashville after a stint on a US talent show in 2003. She was a top-three finalist on the E! Entertainment Television’s reality programme The Entertainer, presented by Wayne Newton.

In the year of 2008 she started recording her debut album ‘Every Monday Morning‘, and was signed to the record label Black River Music Group. Unfortunately after a further album release, Sarah was dropped by the label.

Since 2009, Sarah Darling has released a number of EPs and albums;

2009-Every Monday Morning.

2011-Angels and Devils

2013-Home to Me

2013-Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Darling

Since being dropped by her label, Darling has gone from strength to strength and was even invited to play at the C2C Festival last year on the pop-up stage. And she is now gearing up for her very first independently released album ‘Dream Country‘ on the 10th of February.

The album is expected to a success on the UK and US charts as country music fans fall in love with her soothing and sweet vocals.

This February, Sarah Darling will be performing in Nashville at the iconic Bluebird Cafe. Tickets are on sale now.
